Dance de Fit Our First Social
With Violin Solo Performance from 12:00pm
Thursday 24 September Dance Trial 11:00am- at Lawler Park Scout Hall, 12 Draper Street
Dance de Fit is having our first Social since starting in Floreat in March 2020.
Emmalena Huning, 19 year old violinist, will be performing a 20 minute solo for this event. Her studies at Royal Academy of Music London have been interrupted by the Pandemic and she is back home. She’ll showcase some of her unaccompanied violin pieces before her solo debut with Western Australia Symphony Orchestra at Perth Concert Hall next month.
The Line Dance class will finish earlier, about 11:30am so if you’d like to see or try out some dances, come around 11am. You’ll still be offered a free trial when you come back for a full Absolute Beginner Class. Prospective dancers and non-dancers, all are welcome. It’s a FREE and open event, however booking is essential as space is limited. I need to know how many and who is coming to comply with the COVID-19 restrictions.
BYO small plate or a bottle to share, if you wish (you don’t have to bring any). Please bear in mind that we have to practice good hygiene and social distancing rules at all time.
I look forward to welcoming you to this event. Though violin is a strange theme for a Line Dance group, Emmalena is just trying to help and I love her
